Happy New Year - short ride and more on New Year's Day!

What:  Short ride, 3-20 miles
When:  January 1, 2019, 1pm - 4pm
Where:  Mohawk Park, Shelter 4
  See location map below ...

On New Year's Day 2019, intrepid Tulsa Bicycle Club members will gather, as they have for over twenty years, to usher in the New Year with a short bicycle ride, black-eyed-peas (good luck for the year don't ya know!) and champagne!

What better way to enter the new year?

We'll gather regardless of the weather and Richard Abbott has promised a roaring fire in the shelter ... that said and this being Oklahoma, it could be in the 70's on New Year's Day!  Oh well, all the better for a nice ride.  And if it's cold and nasty, we'll circle the parking lot a few times on our bikes then repair to the fire with a glass of champagne and some black-eyed-pea salad.  We may even have a pot of chili and some bags of Fritos along for some Frito-chili pie?!  You never know ...

So, mark your bright shiny new 2019 calendar and plan to join us for a couple hours of fun and fellowship!

Though not required, and there's no charge for the ride, registering will help us plan better.  We don't want to run out of black-eyed pea salad (or champagne!) ... Register Now ...

Hope to see you there!
