TBC Self-Contained Ride
Registration is not Required
Payment In Full In Advance Only

The September self-contained ride is going to Walnut Creek Park, Corps of Engineers, on September 11th and 12th from Skiatook.

The ride route is 28 miles with a few hills. We are going to do the exact same thing that John Nettles did on the first day of his KAMO tour in May.

Parking will be across the street north from Skiatook Christian Church at 1102 W Oak St, Skiatook.

Those who want will go to the Skiatook Park, only a few blocks away, and eat lunch after we are all packed up at 11:00 am or so. We will leave from there around noon.

Walnut Creek only requires a one night stay but their prices have changed. It is $25 per campsite and there can be two tents at a campsite.

Please let Leslie know if you are going to attend. You can reach Leslie at 918-694-2404. Leslie is also the one to check with for additional information.

Walnut Creek is a former Oklahoma State Park on the north shore of Lake Keystone, 4 miles west of Prue in Osage County. The park was created in 1966, and contains 1,400 acres. Facilities include sandy beaches, a softball field, picnic shelter with tables, RV hookups, and tent sites and restrooms.
Ride Start Location and Route

Parking and start location:  Park in the maintenance lot across the street north from the Skiatook Christian Church at 1102 W Oak St in Skiatook.
