CANCELLED - The September self-contained ride is going to Walnut Creek Park, Corps of Engineers, on September 11th and 12th from Skiatook
The ride route is 28 miles with a few hills. We are going to do the exact same thing that John Nettles did on the first day of his KAMO tour in May. We will park our cars at 1000 w 4th which is the Skiatook School district administration address. It is on Oak Street. Those of us who want will go to the Skiatook Park, which is only a few blocks away, and eat lunch after we are all packed up at 11:00 am or so. We will leave from there around noon. Walnut Creek park only requires 1 overnight stay but I believe their prices have changed. It is $25 per campsite and there can be 2 tents at a campsite. Leslie Harrision will have more detailed information soon. Please let Leslie know if you are going to attend. You can reach Leslie at 918-694-2404.
