Tour starts at 10 a.m.
If enough riders are interested I’ll reserve the Pavilion for Saturday night. Cost is $30 for the Pavilion. Last trip they let us camp around the Pavilion at no additional cost. The Pavilion is enclosed, has heat and electricity, plus outside water. There are heavy tables inside that cannot be moved. Bring your own dinner and breakfast as there is no where close by to buy anything.
Individual RV sites with water and electricity are available for $14 ($12 if over age 65 or if you are a veteran).
Please note that I am doing a 3 or 4-day tour to Wa Sha She and depending when I start (weather dependent) I may not lead the ride from B’ville, but will join the group at the Copan Restaurant for lunch on Saturday. I plan on riding if it is dry, the start temp is over 35, and the overnight temp stays above 20. Let me know if you want to do more that the overnighter.
The route is very easy to follow. From B’ville to Copan the route is pretty flat. From the restaurant in Copan to Wa Sha She the ride is scenic with high vistas. The downhills are fabulous. Wild horses are usually in viewing range. We even saw buffalo on our last trip
Please let me know by 4 p.m. on Wednesday, December 1st if you are coming so I can make parking arrangements and potentially the Pavilion reservation. David – (918) 232-6978
