Spring Training Rides - March 16 through May 18, 2019

2019 Spring Training Ride schedule

2019 Spring Training Rides, Schedule and Guide PDF

Join Tulsa Area Cyclists each Saturday from mid-March to late May for training rides.
These rides are a great opportunity for  those who've been off the bike for a while to get back into it gradually.  Or perhaps you've never ridden beyond your neighborhood and are ready to expand your riding horizons.  Or maybe you just need to get back in shape gradually after a cold winter.
You won't find a better way to jump start your riding than joining us this spring!
Rides start at just 5 miles in length, gradually increasing each week until you find yourself riding 30, 40, 50  miles and more!
All are welcome!  You need not be a TBC member or an accomplished cyclist to participate and these rides are great for beginner and old-hand alike.
All rides are well-marked on the road surface and maps are either provided or can be downloaded as PDFs.  Lots of friendly experienced riders are on-hand to offer help and advice to those just starting out.  Bring the entire family!

Only Saturday rides are listed and will have a leader this year (2019).  But with the routes marked and maps available online to download, you can ride any of the routes whenever you like and as many times as you like on your own or with friends.  Time in the saddle is only gained by ... well ... time in the saddle!  So feel free to ride a route again on Sunday or through the weeks following its scheduled date when it's sure to be marked.  As long as you have the map or can see the Dan Henry directional markings on the roadway, the routes will be easy to take.
Click on the link button below to download a full schedule to put on your frig door!  Note that starting times and locations may change, but likely not.

We'll update the schedule here if and when anything changes!
We look forward to you joining us; we're certain you'll be glad you did!
